Prospective Instruments

Prospective Instruments aims to make multimodal imaging for the life sciences and medical sector considerably more widespread, cost-effective, easier to operate and, above all, more industrial through the fully vertical integration of core components, selected modalities and radical new design concepts.

The expertise of the engineering team of PI is centred around opto-mechanical and mechatronic design, fabrication, embedded hard- and software design, together with advanced optical design and image processing know-how. Deep expertise in ISO 9001 / 13485 certification, HASS & HALT, high volume femtosecond laser fabrication, as well as lifecycle management complements the team´s expertise.

Bringing advanced biomedical imaging techniques closer to the patient or point of care scenario requires new design and industrial fabrication concepts to finally penetrate the medical market on a larger scale. Prospective Instruments partners with dedicated imaging specialists to bring their respective imaging technologies onto an industrial platform for a wider commercial use.
