Ovesco Endoscopy AG is a medical device company specializing in the fields of flexible endoscopy and endoluminal surgery. OVE develops, manufactures, and markets innovative products for the treatment of gastrointestinal disease. Its products stand for therapeutic efficacy and efficient application. Based on the strong background in medical research and development, OVE is continuing to extend its product portfolio with deeply innovative medical devices and procedures.

Ovesco’s business and innovation has been acknowledged through several awards and prizes. ZIM (the German “central innovation programme for SMEs” with a strong focus on innovation-to-market) awarded Ovesco the first spot in their innovation awards 2014 for developing new and innovative clipping techniques within their funding scheme. The ZIM-funded project resulted in two successful products: the FTRD System for treatment of colon cancer and the OTSC Proctology for fistula treatment. In November 2015, we were among the top 3 in the “Hidden Champion Awards”, which honours exceptional economic achievements of German SMEs.

Gabor Conrad is a graduate engineer and R&D manager with more than 10 years of experience in design and development of medical devices. He is involved in ambitious research projects and the leading person to receive FDA approval for HF instruments. He collected substantial experience in industrial and academic R&D as project manager and is project manager for Ovesco’s contribution to this project.
